I played the keyboard. I learned that improvisation isn't as simple as I thought it was as I struggled. I found it difficult as I could only play the chords in one order and was not confident enough to experiment, however in this lesson I learnt to be more confident and I now feel I can improvise well.

3] I found improvisation hard at the beginning as I kept on forgetting the strings and frets. At the end of the lesson it was a bit more easy as I was more fluent with everything but I had trouble thinking what to do next. When I got home I learned not to think about what to do and just do it. After that I found it much easier.

ReplyDeleteI learned with improvisation that you have to think on the spot quick, It doesn\t really matter what notes you play as you are improvising. When we played together is sounded bad, this is due to lack of concentration and everyone improvising.
I didn’t find it difficult when I was playing the drums last time because I was just playing a pattern. However, it was different on the piano as it was my debut and it is more difficult to play a piano unless you are taught.
My skill improved as I was listening to the teacher and learning what to do.
