  1. The songs both had the same, seemingly random guitar solos and repetitive, steady beat. The were different because one had random wavering chords and the other had different, but similar chords

  2. I think that two things that sound the same were-
    The guitar was very similar
The rhythm was also very similar

Two things that sounded different were-
In the second video there was a lot more singing
In the first video the song was a lot less up beat

  6. I think that the drums and the trumpet sound different but the gitare sounds the same there voices are also very similar

  7. They are similar because they both use drums and guitars. The beat is also similar.

They use different chords and one of them have more lyrics.

They are different because they want them to be sold. If they are too similar then people would one buy one of them rather than both.

  8. The two things that were the same about those pieces are-
They both had electric guitars with long solos and they both had a similar beat throughout the songs. The differences were that one had much more singing than the other(number 2). Also,number2 had a quicker and enthusiastic style.

  9. similarities:
    1. The drum beat however the 2nd video has a slightly faster tempo
    2. The bass sound the same

    Differences:
    1. The speed
    2. The 2nd video has a piano but the 1st doesn't
I think this is because they wanted to add their own style too it so it would be original.

  10. 1. The rhythm of each song sounded the same and they used the same instruments which also made the pitch and volume pretty much the same.
    2. The 2 things that sound different are the vocals as the pitch of the voice was high in the first one but lower in the second and also that the first one was a bit more depressing and sad like the true blues but the second was a bit more up beat and I felt like I could dance to it.
    3. I think that these thing are different to show how varied the blues can be and if the songs sounded the exact same none of the songs would get recognised and they don't stand out.

  11. 1.) I think the guitar and the keyboard sound the same.
2.) and the drums and the gitar sound different.
3.) because they are different types of blues

  12. Things that were the same:
1)Each piece of music heavily favoured the electric guitar.
2)They both followed a pattern that seemed simple, but really had a lot to it. That is to say, it seemed to grow in complexity as I listened to it.

    Things that were different:
1)The second video seemed a lot more structured than the first, which had distinct gaps in the music.
2)I couldn't make out what the lyrics sung in the second video were exactly. I'm not sure why this is, but I assume it was the way Jr. Wells chose to sing, in comparison to the style of John Mayer in the first video.

I think these differences exist because of the different forms and chord progressions the blues can exhibit, and how different people also sing in different ways.

  13. I find that King of Blues is slower and more relaxed, whereas Messin' with the Blues was livelier. Also, King of Blues was concentrting on both BB King and John Mayer, Messin' with the blues was centred on the singer.

Something they both had in common was they were catchy and impossible to ignore.

  14. The music sounded the same because they both had the same tune and both songs used a guitar. The music also sounded different because there was more singing in the last video and the beats were different to each other like the beats we learnt in lesson.

  15. Two things that sound the same are the background beat and the instruments which are used. Two things different are the improvisation because improvisation is where a person makes up some think on the spot and does not necessarily remember it and everyone will have their individual Improvisation Seqences another thing different especially on the second video is the difference styles of blues music from the Tone/pitch to the volume .

  16. one thing that sounds different is that one of them is really upbeat and cheery and the other one is quite calm and settle. Another thing is that one has a variety of instruments and the other has just got two guitars. One thing that sounds same is that they kind of have the same tone of voice. another thing is that their voices are quite loud and they have the same tempo.

  17. Two things that sound the same about these is the improvisation on the guitar as they both used it a lot and they used a lot of the same techniques like bending but they are different because the first one is almost completely solos and improvisation with structure in the background with the bass and drums but the second has more structure and occasional parts of improvising this is because there are different types of blues and it is what people prefer and if people are better at rehearsed pieces or improvising

  18. Similarities
.They both have the guitar as the same instrument
    .They follow the same beat

    Differences
.I can hear video one's improvisation more clearly
    .Video 2 changes pace

    How are they different?
.Video 2 changes pace whereas video 1 keeps the same pace.
.Video 1 has improvisation every minute.
.With video 1 you can hear that he's improvising straight away and video 2 doesn't make it as clear.

  19. What is similar about the songs are that they both have electric guitars in them. Something that is different about them is that one is more singing and one is more playing.
