  5. Both pieces of music have strong drum beats and use electric guitars however Messing With The Blues has a much faster rhythm. In addition to this Messing With The Blues and has a vocalist and also uses a mouth organ which makes the piece more complicated to listen to. The BB King piece seems more simple and in my opinion is easier to listen to.

  6. They were the same as they both used the guitar and they both had the Same style of music. They were different because one of them had singing and one of them was faster tempo.

  7. In both of the Blues music videos, there is a very old and fun vibe to the music. They are both steady going and its fun to listen to the music. The music in both videos have a singer that has a very strong and captivating voice - it makes you want to listen to what's being said. It also has a very old vibe and you can clearly hear the guitar, which has a very nice, calm atmosphere.

In video one, the music is less up beat compared to video two. Although they are very similar, the music also seems more calmer in video one. In video two, you can hear a harmonica very clearly - as well as the guitar. They both have a very similar, yet different, atmosphere.

I think that they are different because every Blues writer/singer takes from another musician, and adds their own twist on it.

  8. They sound the same tone. They sound different because the newer version sounds more upbeat and I can hear more instruments.

  9. Both pieces were slow, probably to express feelings, and used the guitar to back everything else up - in the first, the vocals could have done without, and the drums eliminated a real need for the guitar. They did this to add structure and layering to the pieces.

In the first but not the second, the singing was more controlled and quiet, but still expressive, to keep the low, blues like tone about the music, while in the 2nd the vocals were loud, to accommodate for the drums.

In the second but not the first, a whole band was playing different instruments, adding volume and structure, to catch attention and accentuate the beat, while the first used minimal help from instruments to keep it simple.

  11. The similarities is the the both playing guitars and the both playing drums.
The differences are the top has no singing but the second one does and the second is going a bit higher than the first so they have a different tone.

  12. They both sound very sad and somber and like jazz but an octave down. One sounds quite slow and one sounds quite slow. They are different as they are different time zones so the one from 1974 sounds more painful and somber where as the other one sounds less somber annd more like jazz.

  13. 1) There both the same because they are both kind of sad sounding.
    2) The first one that I watched, the man is very loud and it's slightly more upbeat, but he still sounds sad and the second one I watched was more quiet in a way.
    3) I think they are both different as they are sung and made by different people and they obviously have a different style.

  14. I think the difference between both videos is that the newer one was quite fast and the old one was slow. The reason for this is that the newest one might've been faster because the they could have a different view of how a blues song should sound.
