    2. By the sound he means the pitch in your voice. This is where your voice goes up and down to make the song have more variety. I'm not too sure though. Dan Gilmore

    3. I think what helped us sing in the correct pitches was because some people like me are not that confident singing on our own. However we feel more confident singing in a group so we can sing better and show our abilities. I also think that some people where clapping out of tune and being silly.

      Delete
    4. some people were clapping out of time. If we all clapped in time it would be easier for us to sing in correct pitches. It helped the pitches that we sang as a group because I don't like singing by myself so I think we are more confident singing together. Ben Cracknell

I think that the class were good together by the way everyone knew what they were doing, when they had to come in, and what tune to sing in and also the way the rhythm flowed. The blues chord structure is called the 12 bar structure.

  5. In the performance, the class sounds good at staying in time together when repeating the chords over and over. I think we need to improve on staying clear and loud with the chords when people are adding their own little tunes/beats into the performance. This way everything can flow and it will not go out of sync. The name of the Blues chord structure is I-IV-V (1-4-5). This is know as the 12-bar lyric framework. When a performer makes something up on the spot, it is called musical improvisation.

  14. 1. What sounds good about the performance?

For most of the performance we are all in unison and sound good together as a group as everyone stayed in time with each other and kept a steady pace going .

    2. What do we need to work on to improve it? Why will it improve it?

I think that to improve it , we can work on pitch (changing notes on 541 etc) and can aim to all be one level of noise , with no one louder than anyone else . This should improve the price as it will sound better to listen to and you can hear everybody's voice with no distinct one standing out .

    3. What is the name of the Blues chord structure of this piece of music? (HINT: it's to do with the number of bars).
