I have learnt that the blues has influenced our music today especially in America, although it has influenced music all around the world. English loved the blues and try to copy their style.English singers/bands travelled around the USA singing covers of the blues Americian songs.
The blues really became popular when European bands started to take an interest. They copied the songs, rhythm and mainly the Delta Blues songs. Bands like Led Zeppelin were not only copying, but improvising the songs. American people really liked European Blues. It was the best type of music to them, and they really enjoyed it. But the originators of the blues were not getting any credit for the creation of this popular music. Xander Clark
The singers and song writers expressed their sorrow from slavery in the blues music. It started in America, although it soon came to England and it quickly spread to the whole of Europe.
It was a critical turning point in musical history, bb King was the first to incorporate electric guitar into the blues and that became known as Chicago Blues. European bands were the first to introduce the blues into most Americans and made it very popular. The originators of the blues got their credit eventually. It played a part in the Civil Rights Movement.
JB Leonor used to write songs about how badly blacks were treated, he inspired many to write songs like him and they would go on to become great musicians. This happened during the civil rights movement, and at this time slaves would sing the blues to drown their sorrows
I learnt that the blues started in America, which then led to it becoming well known in Europe. Once Europe had taken interest to the blues, it spread internationally through the rest of the world. In Europe It was firstly known in England which then it spread through the rest of The other countries-in Europe-and other parts of the world.
The music was spread around the world and the Europeans copied parts of the songs and they got all the credit instead of the originators. The originators eventually got their credit. It began in the Mississippi Delta. Not Europe.
The blues originated in America during the period of slavery in the 20th and 21st century.Many Europeans herd this music and bands across Europe started playing electric versions of old American blues songs that they really enjoyed. This really popularised blues across the world.
The music was spread all around the world and then Europeans started to copy bit of the music,which is not allowed,the would also get all the credit when I was not really there song.Eventually they managed to stop this and it then began in Mississippi Delta.
The electric guitar wasn't always a part of the blues, when it was first introduced it began the Chicago Blues style. Most styles of blues are named after the countries and cities they originated from.
