From this video I have learnt that many African American slaves during the early 20th century would create, sing and perform blues songs in small wooden shacks. Two of the most famous blues artists who also started their singing careers in wooden shacks are Robert Johnson, Muddy waters and Funhouse. Thomas Westcott, HM
I didn't know that blues music was spread throughout America because lots of the crop farms were destroyed so lots of people had to move and spread across America.
From the video I learnt that Blues originated from the shacks which the black slaves lived in. Once the black slaves moved north the blues became more popular, one of the city's which Blues became more popular in was Chicago. The white European people started Blues and got lots of praise. The founders of Blues finally got credit and that influenced the civil rights movement.
i learnt a lot of things listening to the video but the one i think that stands out the most is that they had come from places and just by singing in the field all the big stars started to populise them and there music.
There very different to normal popstars and they have there own style towards people they also play with different instruments in one video instead of playing one percific instrument.
