  1. Blues music originated from Mississippi in the 20th century. It was introduced via slavery in American history. When African-Americans slaves were working in the hot, tiring fields, they became un-motivated and tired. In order to keep their spirits up, they started singing and making up tunes to lift their mood. I think this is one of the reasons that whenever we think of blues music, we think of deep music, which is quite sad and mellow.

  2. I have learnt that blues music has real meaning and was a way of change for the slaves who sang it. If blues wasn't a type of song, music wouldn't get to where it is today as it influences all music now.

  6. Blues
Blues was the influence to many songs we listen to this day and was originally from the Mississippi. It expressed the sorowness of the saves at the time and it really related to them. Lenoir was a very famous blues artist because he was the first to write the blues . The blues became popular because of the Europeans as they shared the music around the world. In addition I personally think it must of helped the slaves to become more confident and it must of encouraged them a lot.
